ILM UK

profile
International Learning Movement UK works with the world’s poorest and disenfranchised and gives them hope believing that all human life is equal. Founded in 2004, based in Blackburn ILMUK operates via regional offices predominantly across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Africa. Its core aid projects are education, orphan support, safe drinking water; but they act wherever there is need offering eye treatments, working toward the empowerment of women or providing crisis aid in countries affected by natural disaster. They encourage self sufficiency for poor communities and have established schools, orphanages and medical facilities.

scope
The original branding was looking tired and in need of a refresh. Although a medium size charity their integrity and belief in the causes they represent needed to project a more efficient and modern look to stand out from their peers. Wodehouse’s expertise in both the third sector, direct mail and optimising data was a perfect fit for their requirements. We streamlined the logo design and built a corporate brand which has the correct tone and suggested a colour palette which differentiated each cause. Our brand work translated well into a website that uses compelling images to tell the story in a streamlined manner. Wodehouse have also extensively supported the charity at fundraising events and regular 'on the ground' visits to India.

solutions
Core branding design and evolution, which we continue to actively monitor and improve. Direct mail and brochure design, website design, social media utilising awareness of the Muslim calendar key dates, photography, stationery, signage and banners.
